Always safe
- Inter
- Calibri
- Arial
- Helvetica
- Georgia (serif)
- Times New Roman (serif, formal)
- Garamond (serif, elegant)
Never use
- Comic Sans (any context).
- Papyrus.
- Impact.
- Script or handwriting fonts.
- Any font you had to download from a random site.
Size and weight
Body 10–11pt, section headings 12–14pt, name 20–28pt. Never go below 10pt to force one page.
